Mr Matsudo has been appointed as Group Executive Chairman since 2012 with Asian Sports Group Limited. Prior to joining ASG, Mr Matsudo was the Chief Executive Officer of Sumitomo School of Sports and Athletics Japan. Coming from a sportsman family himself, Mr Matsudo has dedicated his time and attention in developing Junior Golfer in Japan since 1994 and has achieved remarkable results through his mentorship in Japan.
Mr Matsudo is well equipped with more than 20 years experience in Sports Coaching, Fiscal Fitness Training, Cycling and Corporate Management. He was the Council Members of Cycling Federation of Japan between 1999 – 2009 respectively.
Mr Matsudo holds an MBA from University of Japan majoring Sports Phycology & Mentorship. His also the author of Sports Within You book in Japanese language published in 2001.
Bambang Sudarsono CA
Vice Chairman – International Relations
Sudarsono is well known the area of accountancy and banking in Asia. He was appointed as Vice Chairman of ASG in 2013 and looking after portfolio of International Sports partnerships with various Olympic Councils in Asia. Prior to joining ASG, Mr Sudarsono was the Director of Sports Development for the Ministry of Youth & Sports Indonesia.
He is also an avid motorsports enthusiast and has recorded some 16,000km riding across 3 continents in 2007 promoting “ Education for All in Indonesia’ jointly sponsored by Shell.
Sudarsono is a qualified Chartered Accountant graduated from University of Trisakti Jakarta Indonesia. Additionally he also holds an MBA majoring Business Management & Social Studies.
Senior Vice President – Business Development & Projects
Micheal Tan joined ASG team in 2008 as Vice President (Business Development) and later promoted to Senior VP overseeing the same department and additionally corporate sponsorship and branding. Prior to joining ASG, Micheal was the Director of Business Strategies with Hong Kong Tourism Board. He began his career working for Cathay Pacific airlines as Sales Manager to Director of Sales & Marketing within 6 years.
Avid golfer, he has played golf in more than 500 golf courses around the world.
Micheal Tan graduated from University of Foreign Studies in Beijing with a Bachelor Degree majoring Hospitality & Tourism Studies.
ADEVA K Sankuny has been with British Golf Asia Ltd for 6 years since its inception and rejoined the company again after the merge between British Golf Asia and Asian Sports Group made in 2013 as Chief Executive Officer overseeing Hospitality & Lifestyle operation in Asian region.
Equipped with two Bachelor Degrees in Hospitality & Tourism Studies AND Golf & Country Club Management from the University of British Columbia Canada respectively, Sankuny is a prominent figure in the Asian Golf Industry with over 25 years experience in Club Management, Golf Projects, Membership Sales, Food & Beverage Operations & Turf Management. An excellent marketer of “Lifestyle” of golf and a professional golfer, enjoy photography as his hobby. Also a winner of Outstanding General Manager Awards from Asian Golf Summit and Asian Golf Industry, Sankuny has earned himself a respect, which envied by his fellow peers in the industry.
With Asian Sports Group, Sankuny leads the BGA Golf Management, PGA Events and Project Management of our group. Presently, he oversees BGA’s Golf Resorts management contracts in Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia. He also oversees the entire Food & Beverage management portfolios of the entire club managed by BGA.
Group Financial Controller
Ms Helen Rich joined ASG Group as Group Financial Controller including its subsidiaries. Prior to joining ASG Group, Helen was the Chief Accountant with British Cycling Federation and European Sports Promotion authority based in England.
She holds an MBA in Business Accounting and Auditing from University of Yorkshire England.
Ms Ria Wibowo
Director at Large – Events & Vendor Management
Ms Ria joined ASG in 2009 as Director of Events and after 3 years promoted to Director at Large overseeing vendor management and International Sports Events of Asian Sports Group within South East Asia region.
Ria is an avid musician and love playing piano. During her college days, she has performed in Sydney Australia for various bilateral Ministerial meets between Indonesia and Australia. She has also performed in various TV and Corporate functions in Indonesia past recent years.
Graduated with an MBA in Social Studies and Political Science from Trisakti University of Indonesia with President Honors, Ria have served multiple Government and private organization in her career. Ria is also the mastermind of Asian Pacific Golf & Tourism Expo in Indonesia which since 2007 in Jakarta, Surabaya and Bali.
Senior Vice President – Global Businesses Development
Hartman joined ASG team in 2008 as Vice President (Global Businesses & Golf Development) and later promoted to Senior VP overseeing the same department and additionally Regional Businesses Development and Marketing. Prior to joining ASG, Hartman worked for various golf & country clubs and hotels in Europe and South Africa. He is also a dedicated golfer and an ardent tournament director for various golf tournaments for over 20 years.
With Asian Sports Group, Hartman focuses mainly on Global businesses including brand marketing for our clients.
Hartman graduated from University of Belfast Essex United Kingdom with a Bachelor Degree majoring Hospitality & Tourism Studies.
Ms Thanasree Sukhimwitt
Director at Large – International Events & Sponsorship
Ms Sree joined ASG Group in 2011 as Director of Sales & Marketing and later promoted to Director at Large for International Events & Sponsorship of the group.
Prior to joining ASG Group, Sree was the Head of Marketing of I Mobile in Thailand that saw significant growth through her marketing leadership for 11 years. Sree brought with her an unparalleled quality of work in both marketing and brand management.
Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in International Management & Marketing from University of Birmingham Thailand.
